By placing an order on this site, it is understood that you have read and accepted Keraijen's Policies & Terms.
Estimates and Pricing
Keraijen advises that estimates and prices are good for 60 days from the time of order placement. Current prices apply if an order is "shelved" and resumed after 60 days.
Cancellation Policy
The client acknowledges that by appointing Keraijen, fees are for the services provided and are subsequently non-refundable. To maximise the effectiveness of our writing, Keraijen limits the number of projects received per week, which has resulted in a project waiting period for the majority of projects (refer to resume packages for exact waiting period). Therefore, full payment is to be made prior to work commencing to guarantee project availability. If a client decides to discontinue use of the services they have commissioned for any reason prior to work commencing on the project, a project cancellation fee of $150 applies.
In the event that work has commenced and the client opts to cancel the project or discontinue use of services they have commissioned, the client will be billed at our hourly rate of $120 for the amount of time spent on their project prior and up to the time of cancellation.
Failure by the client to notify Keraijen of the cancellation within a 12 month timeframe from time of purchase will not entitle the client to a reimbursement of the fee.
Project Turn-Around
Turnaround to complete the résumé package is 5 business days (unless advised otherwise for larger projects), once we receive your completed questionnaire and targeted questions. This timeframe does not include the project wait at the time of booking. Resume questionnaires or targeted questions are to be returned to Keraijen within 2-3 weeks from purchase of package. Information not received within this timeframe could mean your project will be queued and completed upon availability.
Projects which clients have shelved will be queued and completed upon availability. Shelved project packages are good for 60 days from time of order placement. After this timeframe, if changes have been made to Keraijen’s existing resume packages, then current package details apply.
Deadline for Completion
Each client is hereby advised that failure of the client to respond within 10 days of the receipt of the first draft will be considered as a termination of the commissioning contract and no further work will be performed on his or her behalf. Keraijen requires that projects be completed within two weeks from project commencing. After two weeks, if the client fails to request an extension of time, Keraijen will consider the project finished. Further consultation time or revisions may be subject to fees.
Review and Revisions
Final proofreading is the responsibility of the client and all changes must be made within 10 days of receiving the first draft. Fees include a one-time review/revision of the document. Changes following initial review/revision will be charged at our standard hourly rate of $120.00 per hour. Should an error be discovered following initial client review/proofreading/approval, Keraijen will correct and replace at no charge. Additional changes requested that are not in the original job scope will be charged at our hourly rate of $120 per hour.
Satisfaction is assumed upon acceptance of documents. Client decision to address a new employment target not discussed in initial purchase agreement will result in additional fees
Intellectual Property Rights
Keraijen retains intellectual property ownership of all work produced. Each piece is carefully composed to ensure individuals are marketed effectively based on distinctive characteristics. Clients are permitted to reproduce additional copies via facsimile, scanner, printer or photocopier, and can alter their own documents.. Clients are not permitted to transfer ownership to another person or permit them to use the document as a template. This policy protects the integrity and quality of our professional writing, our clients' right to have an individually crafted resume and a potential third party from an unsuccessful marketing strategy that has not had the benefit of being modelled on their skills and experience.
Client gives Keraijen permission for the content of their resume to be published in articles, columns, books, and industry-related publications / competitions, at the discretion of Jennifer Rushton, and with the understanding that all identifying information (name, address, name of employer, and so forth) will be fictionalised to protect the client’s confidentiality. Clients not wishing their resume to be published in any articles, columns, books, and industry-related publications / competitions must advise Keraijen prior to final resume documentation being developed. Fictionalised resumes will not be removed from articles, columns, books, and industry-related publications / competitions if the client has failed to advised Keraijen prior to final resume documentation.
Warranties and Liabilities
Keraijen does not guarantee job placement, or employment success. Our clients’ successes are directly dependent upon the effort, commitment and diligence they put into fully integrating our cover letters and resumes with their job search strategies.
Keraijen’s goal is to provide the best possible resume package for each of our clients. It is the responsibility of the client, and indeed in the client's best interests, to supply us with all requested information and to work collaboratively with us to complete a customised package that reflects their individuality and highlights their career assets. Keraijen strongly encourages active client participation in this process to achieve the best outcome possible for all concerned.
If a client refuses to work collaboratively with Keraijen in the information gathering process or does not invest the time into their answers as requested by Keraijen, then Keraijen can cancel the project with no monies owing to the client. Worked will be billed at an hourly rate of $120 for the amount of time spent on their project prior and up to the time of cancellation. No refunds will be given for outsourced services.
The client understands that if there is a preference on the client's part to use their work email or employer's computer for career communications with Keraijen they (the client) will be solely responsible for any possible repercussions from such action, including dismissal by their employer. Keraijen holds no responsibility for any possible repercussions from such action, including dismissal by their employer surrounding the possibility of their actions being discovered by parties, other than the intended recruiters and/or potential employers.
Keraijen is a professional resume writing and career development firm, not a computer instructor. Due to the varying nature of computer word processing software and the page alterations that can take place from computer to computer, based on printer and computer recognition, we cannot guarantee that your documents will appear perfectly on every computer screen. While we take every step to ensure your satisfaction, some issues are beyond our control and require you to make adjustments on your end.
Client understands and agrees that Keraijen will not confirm or attempt to verify information provided by Client, and Keraijen will not be responsible for accuracy or truthfulness of information provided by Client. Client will hold Keraijen harmless from claims by third parties based on any inaccuracy of information in the resume and/or cover letters created by Keraijen.
Force Majeure
Keraijen is not liable for failure to perform the client’s obligations if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), unforeseen personal accidents, war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption, failure of electricity and/or telephone service, or causes beyond that party's reasonable control and occurring without its fault or negligence, including, without limitation, failure of suppliers, subcontractors, and carriers. No party is entitled to terminate this Agreement in such circumstances.
Confidentiality
Keraijen respects your privacy. Any and all information collected at this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed. Keraijen will not at any time, either directly or indirectly, use for its personal benefit or disclose, or communicate in any manner any information that is pertaining to its clients. All your information will be kept strictly confidential. This provision shall remain effective even after the termination of all agreements and projects. Upon termination of agreements, Keraijen will return all documentation, records or other items that were used or created by Keraijen for its clients during the term of our agreement.
Your Contact Details
Any information you give to Keraijen will be held with the utmost care, and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to. Keraijen will ask you when she needs information that personally identifies you or allows her to contact you. Generally, this information is requested when you are requesting information or hiring Keraijen services. Personal information collected by Keraijen often is limited to email address, country or location, but may include other information when needed to provide a service you requested. For example, if you choose a service or transaction that requires payment, such as making a purchase enquiry, Keraijen will request personal information necessary for billing and/or shipping, such as: name, address, telephone number, and credit card number.
Secure online transactions
 When your pay for services or products online, your purchases are secure by
ordering through the PayPal server. For more information on PayPal's security

Change in privacy statement
Keraijen reserves the right to withdraw or change its Policies & Terms at any time. If and when
we do, we shall revise the "last
